AFB Practice Roundtable: Managing Booking Arrangements – Regulatory Expectations and Best Practice

AFB will partner with Deloitte for an in-person roundtable discussion on booking arrangements. The roundtable will focus on the front to back lifecycle of trading, including origination, execution, risk capture and transfer and settlement.

Why attend?

This roundtable is aimed at EU, Swiss and US banks within the AFB membership.  The roundtable will assist banks in their review of their existing booking model framework to ensure that they can demonstrate robust governance and controls over their booking arrangements.

It will focus on external and internal arrangements, including remote booking and back-to-back arrangements.  It will also help   ensure a risk-based approach has been taken to prevent or detect on a timely basis any exceptions to booking arrangements.

Attendees will be invited to share their perspectives on the challenges being faced by international banks, draw upon the points raised, and pose questions to the team at Deloitte and each other.

AFB will circulate an agenda and a series of questions to registered attendees in advance which will be used to aid discussions.

There will be refreshments and networking from 15:30 before the roundtable discussion starts at 16:00.

Please note that capacity for the roundtable is limited to 30 members and one person per member bank.

Who should attend?

This roundtable is aimed at Risk, Compliance and Operations teams of EU, Swiss and US banks.
