AFB Leadership Programme Dinner: What should be the UK’s long-term priorities for regulatory reform?

Dinner with Harriett Baldwin MP, Chair of the House of Commons Treasury Select Committee

Wednesday 22 May 2024, 19:30 – 21:30

BCLP, Governors House, 5 Laurence Pountney Hill, London EC4R 0BR

‘What should be the UK’s long-term priorities for regulatory reform?’

This evening event will focus on the longer-term agenda being articulated by the influential Treasury Select Committee and will be an opportunity to exchange views with an influential spokesperson from the Conservative Party in advance of a general election later in 2024.

The Leadership Programme provides an invaluable opportunity for the CEOs of member firms to engage directly with some of the UK’s most important banking stakeholders. Participants will hear directly from those who are responsible for creating Government and Regulatory policy as well as learn from senior leaders engaged with financial services.  The 2024 programme is now included as part of your annual AFB membership subscription.

The Programme is being delivered in partnership with Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner (BCLP) who we thank for their continued support of AFB and its members.

The AFB Leadership Programme will offer a varied series of thought leadership sessions designed specifically for senior leaders of our member firms. The events will be held in-person at BCLP’s offices, facilitating opportunities for attendees to develop relationships with their peers. Find out more about the programme here.

We will confirm new speakers and dates for future sessions in due course, so do keep an eye on your inbox for more information on future events.

These events are designed for CEOs/GMs, however, if you are unable to attend and you wish to propose a senior representative, please contact AFB and we will do our best to accommodate where we can.

Please note that the number of participants for each event is limited and places are booked on a first come, first served basis.
