AN ESSENTIAL TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR AFB MEMBERS
Cost: £230 + VAT
The AFB is pleased to partner with BDO LLP to bring members this interactive workshop to learn about the challenges faced when planning and executing Fire Drills. It will also include information regarding the testing of the Crisis Management and Operational Resilience arrangements, or the Recovery Plan for your bank
Fire Drills should be a joint exercise led by Risk, IT and the Operational Resilience functions within a bank. It is crucial that firms take time to prepare sufficiently using a severe and plausible scenario to ensure that they can simulate how they would withstand a stress in a real-life scenario. The lessons learned from the exercise will provide invaluable insight on the robustness of the oversight arrangements within a bank. At the end of this workshop, all attendees will understand how to take corrective measures before a real-life scenario materialises.
To note, there are only 12 places on this workshop, so book early to avoid disappointment. Should there be interest, we will run additional workshops later in the year.
